North Carolina Rail Safety

May 30, 2023 -- The Rotary Club of the Capital City welcomed Roger Smock, Safety & Outreach, NC Department of Transportation. Mr. Smock spoke to the club about being safe around North Carolina railways. Walking on or along railroad tracks is illegal, deadly, and a class 3 misdemeanor. Always use a public crossing and look each direction for a train.
